The 100% recycled paper Shiro Echo

Shiro Echo is the ecological 100% recycled fibre paper which is now available in 5 trend colours.

Favini continues its path of sustainable innovation with the high quality 100% recycled ecological paper Shiro Echo.

Even during the Covid-19 emergency, Favini’s desire to innovate and provide new quality and ecological products to customers never stopped: During this period the Shiro Echo paper was developed in a coloured version, to complement its two white versions.

This recycled paper fits perfectly into the environment towards which the market is becoming increasingly oriented: The choice for sustainable recyclable materials and high-quality eco-friendly solutions.

From research on recyclability carried out by Two Sides, it finds that consumers are increasingly attentive and aware of their packaging choices and when it comes to sustainability, 62% of European consumers prefer paper packaging, because it is considered as the material with the least environmental impact and is easier to recycle. [1]

Natural colours and a tactile sensation for Favini’s new ecological paper Shiro Echo with 100% recycled fibre

Shiro Echo is the paper developed by Favini with 100% recycled fibre. Available in two white versions – Bright White and White – now the range includes three additional shades of restrained elegance: Raw Black, Raw Sand and Raw Grey.

The shades complement the classic whites and are aligned to the current trends in the fashion and design sector: for spring/summer 2020, the classic neutral colours of white, grey and kraft have been identified as fundamental and versatile shades to communicate natural refinement or to be used as a base to combine with more vibrant colours. [2]

Shiro Echo’s coloured version takes inspiration from the natural colours of recycled materials – Kraft, grey and black – meeting the needs of the market, which is increasingly looking for sustainable papers with a natural appearance, both in shade and tactile feel.

Shiro Echo has been developed with a natural rough finish, in order to convey the recycled heritage of the material to the touch. The pleasant roughness follows a trend in the packaging sector, where the tactile experience plays a fundamental role to a positive outcome in the purchasing process.
