50% recycled and other news for Bindakote
Posted in Graphic Specialities
Favini’s acclaimed range of cast coated papers and boards is refreshed: New colours and new versions for Bindakote and Bindakote Colours.
Favini updates its original and renowned Bindakote, a range of fine papers and boards, with an ultra-bright surface obtained with cast coating technology, ideal for fine print and packaging. Now, an ecological line of Bindakote Ice White 50% Recycled is also available and the entire colour palette has been refashioned to ensure a choice of modern and rich shades.
Bindakote is synonymous with heritage in the field of extra glossy supports for luxury packaging. The Crusinallo paper mill, where Favini’s high quality coated paper is produced, was in fact the first in Europe to take the patent from S.D Warren for the production of cast coated papers and boards in 1957.
Coated papers are a niche segment in graphic specialties and Bindakote, with its characteristics of extremely shiny and smooth surfaces, excellent stiffness and bulk, has been recognized for more than 50 years as a leading product in this sector.
Bindakote and Bindakote Colours: a renewed range offering new solutions for luxury packaging
Bindakote offers a wide range of products for applications from labels to folding board, from printing to packaging. The numerous weights and variations of white are accompanied by a rich offer of colours, now renewed to reflect current trends: Pastel and bright colours, metallic and pearly shades, including the characteristic Bindakote Black on Black and the brand new and elegant Blue on Black, in addition to the new ecological line Bindakote Ice White Recycled 50%.
New recycled option: Bindakote Ice White 50% Recycled
Favini, always at the forefront of sustainable solutions in the paper industry, has developed a version of Bindakote with 50% recycled fibres. This line is reserved for those who desire to have a green packaging solution with a bright appearance.
Available in three weights and in the colour Ice White, Bindakote 50% Recycled is distinctive for its extremely smooth surface that allows excellent printability on both sides.
Bindakote Colours: News for its colour versions
Another key point of this range update are the shades that further enrich the widest range of coloured cast coated cards available on the market today. The Bindakote Colours line is full of pastel and bright colours, pearly and metallic surfaces with a shiny, refined and modern look.
The offer has been updated and expanded with its black-based specialties. Black on Black, with its deep black surface, is now available in three weights.
A new elegant Blue on a black base completes the range, ideal for printed matter and packaging where white cutting edges are to be eliminated.
Bindakote Blue on Black is one of the new items in Bindakote Colours, a refined midnight blue paper on a black base for luxurious packaging and printing.
Why choose Bindakote: The benefits
