Four new shades inspired by the 2026 colour trends are added to the long-established range of felt-marked papers
Rossano Veneto, 30 March 2026 – Rossano Veneto, 30 March 2026 – Favini presents the revamped Prisma, the iconic felt-marked paper that has long been the reference point for the worlds of print communication, packaging and high-end creative projects. The range is extended with four new shades – Sage, Powder, Dusky Blue and Ecru – and the introduction of a new 350 g/m² weight, to provide even more design possibilities for designers, brands and printers.
This review of the colour palette came from a careful analysis of trends in the fashion, wedding, perfumery, hospitality and communications fields, with the aim of developing versatile, contemporary colours that work well with an array of printing techniques and materials.
The new shades perfectly complements the colour trends for 2026, sharing with Pantone Cloud Dancer 2026 an aesthetic characterised by soft, dusty and versatile hues. Sage interprets a delicate, natural green; Ecru evokes the world of organic fibres and textiles; Dusky Blue offers an elegant, muted blue; Powder stands out as a sophisticated, neutral pink.
A distinctive element of Prisma remains its characteristic felt-marked finish, created using special cylinders during the production process. This finish produces a surface with three-dimensional micro-reliefs that create striking effects of light and shadow, giving the paper a strong tactile and visual identity.
Available in one-sided, two-sided, Metallic and Digital versions, Prisma continues to stand out for its versatility, finding use in premium packaging, stationery, invitations, promotional materials and publishing projects.
To highlight the range update, Favini has created “Light Notes,” a new micro visual book designed to demonstrate the potential of the new shades and the new grammage. Conceived as a notebook for exploration, the pages illustrate the interplay between light, material and surfaces through special finishes, coatings, transparent foils and print techniques that showcase the paper’s characteristics.
With this new revision, Favini upholds its commitment to combining tradition and innovation, offering the market a range that captures contemporary trends without compromising its identity of timeless elegance. Prisma now presents itself as a more contemporary solution, designed to enhance creative projects through colour, texture and light.
