INTRODUCTION

The Release paper production began in the forties in the United States however it was only during the sixties, with the success of the PVC made eco-leather throughout the world and then during the seventies, with the introduction of polyurethane (PU) that the industrial casting process and therefore the Release paper was definitively developed.

Italy didn't remain out of this release paper growth, thanks to the bold men in Crusinallo mill who since the sixties foresaw the enormous potential of this business. They began to work with the force of passion and obstinacy to follow their vision and from nothing they succeeded in starting up a Production Department able to win international credibility in the field of the casting industry for the excellence of the papers created there.

During those inspired years the Crusinallo paper mill already had more than a century of history and thanks to the release papers rising started a gradual and unrestrainable worldwide success.

The great experience gained during 50 years of release papers production by Favini in this field allowed us to improve more and more our products till they became what they nowadays are: a point of reference for every eco-leather producer.
