Brand new piece for Free2create direct mailing campaign: Espresso, a waterfall of seven papers inspired by the Italian passion for coffee.

Seven papers with different colour intensities: the deep matt Brown of The Tube contrasting with the Hazelnut shade of the new ecological paper Crush. The waterfall shows various finishes too: the smooth Burano, the linear felt marked Twill, the unique Twist.

New concept video for Crush, the innovative eco-friendly paper

What is the special and distinctive ingredient that makes Crush unique? The secret mix of agro-industrial waste from coffee beans, olives, corn, almonds, hazelnuts, kiwi and citrus fruits.

The video tells in a short time how the residues from organic products are crushed and turned to paper – set to a medley of some traditional melodies, Balkan style. Watch it!

Crush goes live

Now on YouTube and Vimeo, CRUSH goes live: the innovative range and award winning range of ecological papers made with residues of coffee, olives, kiwis and more, is shown in the making.

The video, deliberately light and fun, to the tune of 'Where's My Banjo?' of RIMSKY, has been designed to capture attention and show how Favini can make a high quality product from such unusual materials.

CRUSH, the result of intensive research and development, is protected by a European patent.

Christmust 2012: Italian excellence on Crush

Christmust is the publication that promotes the Italian Design and Quality through 100 products and success stories of Made in Italy.

The 2012 edition is printed on Favini papers manufactured with 100% Green Energy from renewable and self-produced sources: Crush, the new eco-friendly paper, made from process residues from organic products, and Dolce Vita, a new generation of paper that enables high definition print. Favini has been listed in the Christmust section dedicated to 10 Italian companies with a strong eco attitude.

Favini is an example of Italian company that is investing in innovation and developing innovative ideas, such as Crush, the ecological papers made using process residues from the organic products (corn, citrus, kiwi, olives, almonds, hazelnuts and coffee), which replace up to 15% virgin tree pulp.

Christmust 2012 selection was edited and designed by Simona Lombardi, marketing manager Ali Spa and creator of the project, Jacopo Morelli, President of Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs, Danilo Premoli, architect and journalist, and Gianluca Vassalli, communication consultant and creative director.
