Favini announces its participation at Security Document World, one of the most important international events for security documentation in London, 21 to 23 May 2013.
During the past years Favini has been building a reputation for innovation and high quality design in the graphics paper market. In 2010, Favini also began to see opportunities in the security paper market. Having created a strong offer of the traditional security features, Favini has also launched a unique product called ‘Secure-Skin’, that uses special technology to emboss the paper. This product neatly brings together the worlds of security paper and luxury packaging under the concept of brand protection, adding another layer of defence against counterfeiting and imitation.
The area of security and brand protection is now an important part of Favini’s portfolio and further innovations are under development.

Paperworld 2013: Crush, the first eco friendly paper, mentioned during the event as innovative product

During the Paperworld 2013 in Frankfurt, which ended on January 29, Favini CRUSH has been mentioned as one of the most innovative products presented during the event.
Especially, the organizers recognized in the new range of paper Favini, a product with a story to tell: CRUSH it is the first and only range of ecological papers made with by – products from organic products (corn, citrus and kiwi fruits, olives, almonds, hazelnuts and coffee beans), replacing as much as 15% of traditional wood pulps. At a time of increasing resource scarcity, Favini, after hundreds of hours of research and fine tuning, was able to relieve the pressure on forests and to give a new life to waste, elevating them to the raw material.

Favini announces its participation at Paperworld (Frankfurt, 26-29 January 2013) the leading event in the world, for stationery, school and office products.
Favini will showcase Crush, the first and only range of paper made with by-products from organic products replacing as much as 15% of traditional wood pulps.
After hundreds of hours of research and fine tuning, Favini has managed to transform process residues from corn, citrus and kiwi fruits, olives, almonds, hazelnuts and coffee beans into extraordinary paper in high fashion colours inspired by nature – and each with a distinct touch created by the differences between the types of material.
As well as Crush, Favini will show their famous brands, Twist, Softy, Bindakote, Burano, Twill and Prisma, exclusive black papers, the three new colors of The Tube and the new visual book of Majestic Satins, inspired by the extraordinary computer-generated images of the Higgs boson at Cern.

Favini Security Paper at High Security Printing Conference, Dubai

The 11th Asian, Middle East and African High Security Printing Conference will take place September 24-26, 2012 at InterContinental Dubai Festival City, UAE.
The conference has given the region a forum for high security printing where new products and technical developments have all been aired and shared for the benefit of government departments, central banks, state and commercial security printers and paper mills, security feature suppliers and other interested parties.
The conference will focus on government-specified and issued documents, including currency, fiduciary documents, excise stamps, ID cards, e-passports, visas, vehicle documents and licences. Running in tandem with the event will be a trade exhibition of approximately 30 exhibitors, including Favini.
Favini will show the innovative security solutions developed by its experienced R&D to meet the ever changing and highly technical needs of security applications.

Favini at Pack&Gift

Favini will again be at Pack & Gift in Paris from June 13th and 14th. Pack & Gift is an ideal place for Favini to show case its products since Pack and Gift is a hotbed of creativity in a sector which is always looking for something new to make their product stand out.
Favini will show their famous brands Biancoflash, Bindakote and Burano; the innovative Twist & Softy and The Tube; Dolce Vita, a paper combining the feel of an uncoated with the print of a coated; the metallic Majestic and Starpack, a textured product for perfume boxes.
Favini will also be submitting Shiro Alga Carta for the competition Pack & Green 2012, an award given each year to the most innovative, environmentally friendly products. Shiro Alga Carta applies a patented process to use algae. Created in the 1990s, as a response to algal blooms in the Venice lagoon, Favini now uses algae from Brittany and Normandy where algae are a major late summer problem.
